A Supercut Of The Most Iconic Horror Movie Houses

We all know that movies make actors and actresses highly recognizable, but it also can make the shooting locations just as well known. Horror movie houses in particular make for some of the more memorable pieces of pop culture history.

For instance, who can forget the house of Leatherface and the rest of the cannibalistic Sawyer family from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre? The fact that most of the furniture is made from human remains ensures the whole place is pretty horrifying. Or how about the Saeki house from The Grudge? Located in downtown Tokyo, this was a perfectly normal home until Takeo Saeki murdered his wife and young son, creating a supernatural “grudge” that claims everyone who sets foot in the house.

With that, the folks over at Burger Fiction have created this supercut that has combined some of horror’s most memorable homes into a video titled Horror Movie Super House. The scary homes included are from The Changeling, The Exorcist, Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist, Donnie Darko, The Sixth Sense, Night Of The Living Dead, The Babadook, Insidious, The Shining, The Conjuring, A Nightmare On Elm Street, It Follows. Halloween and many more. You probably wouldn’t want to visit one of these houses, let alone all of them combined.
